How do you know if your business actually needs an AI solution?<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

AI makes sense when most of the following apply:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • The process is repeated<\/strong> \u2013 ten times a day, not ten times a year<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Data on\u00a0past cases is available<\/strong>, even if it is in poor condition<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • A decision\u00a0has a measurable cost<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 time, errors, lost sales, downtime<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The result\u00a0result does not need to be perfect<\/strong>to be useful \u2013 85 per cent accuracy, with human review, is often sufficient<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Someone in the company\u00a0experiences the problem every day<\/strong>\u00a0and can describe it<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    AI is pointless when:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • There are too few examples to learn anything from them<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • The problem is actually\u00a0one of process<\/strong>, not technology \u2013 AI will simply automate the chaos<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • 100 per cent accuracy is required without human review<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • No one owns the problem, and the project exists simply because \u2018we have to do something with AI\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • The existing tool can already do this, but nobody is using it<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
